A total of 1007 vacancies have been announced for various Specialist Officer posts in participating Public Sector Banks. The posts include:

IT Officer (Scale I): 4-year Engineering/Technology Degree or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications / Information Technology / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation. OR Graduate having passed DOEACC 'B' Level.
Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I): 4-year Graduation Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Animal Husbandry / Veterinary Science / Dairy Science / Fishery Science / Pisciculture / Agri. Marketing & Cooperation / Co-Operation & Banking / Agro-Forestry / Forestry / Agricultural Biotechnology / Food Science / Agriculture Business Management / Food Technology / Dairy Technology / Agricultural Engineering.
Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I): Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at Graduation Level. OR Post Graduate Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as a subject at Graduation Level.
Law Officer (Scale I): Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council.
HR / Personnel Officer (Scale I): Graduate and 2 Year full-time PG Degree / Diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations / HR / HRD / Social Work / Labor Law.
Marketing Officer (Scale I): Graduation and 2 Year Full Time MMS (Marketing) / 2 Year Full Time MBA (Marketing) / 2 Year Full time PGDBA / PGDBM / PGPM / PGDM with Specialization in Marketing.
Note: For posts other than IT Officer Scale I, candidates should also have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language or have studied Computer/Information Technology as one of the subjects in High School/College/Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years, Maximum 30 years.
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years
Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers (including ECOs/SSCOs) who have rendered at least 5 years of military service: 5 years
Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years
