3. Eligibility Criteria (as on January 1, 2025):

  • Age Limit:

    • Minimum Age: 21 years

    • Maximum Age: 37 years

  • Educational Qualification:

    • A Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.

    • A Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) of not less than 02 years duration recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

    • Must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-I conducted in accordance with the NCTE Guidelines.

    • Note: A certificate of ICT skills course (Computer Concepts) of 80 hours from a Govt. recognized institution OR a reputed ISO 9001 certified institution OR DOEACC/NIELIT is required at the time of appointment.

4. Application Fee:

  • General/OBC/EWS Candidates: ₹1000/-

  • SC Candidates: ₹500/-

  • Persons with Disability (PwD): Exempted from fee payment.

5. Selection Process:

The selection process for Chandigarh JBT Teacher Recruitment 2025 will be based solely on merit in a written examination. There will be no interview.
