Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 29 years as of September 17, 2025. Age relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen) is applicable as per government rules.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
Field Engineer: Full-time B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) in the relevant discipline (Electrical/Civil) with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. A minimum of one year of post-qualification experience is required.
Field Supervisor: Full-time Diploma in the relevant discipline (Electrical/Civil/Electronics & Communication) with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized technical board. A minimum of one year of post-qualification experience is also required.
Application Fee
Field Engineer: ₹400
Field Supervisor: ₹300
Fee Exemption: Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories are not required to pay the application fee.
Selection Process
Field Engineer: The selection process consists of a Written Test followed by an Interview.
Field Supervisor: The selection is based solely on a Written Test.
Written Test Details:
Format: Computer-Based Test (CBT) with multiple-choice questions.
Duration: 1 hour
Total Questions: 75 questions
Breakdown: 50 questions on Technical Knowledge and 25 questions on General Aptitude (including reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and English).
Scoring: 1 mark for each correct answer. There is no negative marking.
Salary and Benefits
Field Engineer:
Monthly Remuneration: ₹30,000-3%-1,20,000
Initial Basic Pay: ₹30,000 per month
Approximate Annual CTC: ₹8.9 Lakhs
Field Supervisor:
Monthly Remuneration: ₹23,000-3%-1,05,000
Initial Basic Pay: ₹23,000 per month
Approximate Annual CTC: ₹6.8 Lakhs
Other Benefits: The pay includes Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other perks and allowances. Medical facilities, Group Insurance, and superannuation benefits are also provided.
