🏛️ Vacancy & Eligibility Details
Total Vacancies: 935 posts for Assistant Education Development Officer (Advt. No. 87/2025).
Note: 319 vacancies are reserved for women candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree (Graduate) from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025):
Minimum Age: 21 Years.
Maximum Age: 37 years for Unreserved (Male).
Age relaxation is applicable as per Bihar Government rules (e.g., up to 40 years for UR Female/BC/EBC Male & Female, and up to 42 years for SC/ST Male & Female).
📝 Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection process consists of a Written Objective-Type Examination followed by Document Verification. There is no interview.

General Language (Qualifying): Grammar, Vocabulary, Synonyms & Antonyms, Comprehension Passages.
General Studies: National & International Current Events, History of India & Bihar, Geography of India & Bihar, Indian Polity, and Economy.
General Aptitude: Number System, Simplification, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Average, Profit & Loss, Time & Work, Logical Reasoning, and Data Interpretation.

Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) if you're a new user, or log in.
Fill in the online application form for Advt. No. 87/2025 with all required personal and academic details.
Upload scanned copies of the required documents (Photograph, Signature, Educational Certificates, etc.).
Pay the application fee (₹100 for all candidates, plus bank charges).
Review the form carefully, then Submit and print the confirmation page for future reference.
💰 Salary and Job Profile
Pay Scale: Level-5 of the pay matrix.
Basic Pay: ₹29,200 per month (plus allowances like DA, HRA, TA, etc.).
Job Profile: The AEDO's primary responsibility is to monitor and implement government education policies at the block/Panchayat level, supervise school activities, manage teacher attendance and performance, and oversee educational schemes like mid-day meals and scholarships.
