Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
For Engineering Subjects (Civil, Mech, Electrical, etc.):
B.E. / B.Tech / B.S. in the relevant discipline with First Class.
Note: If you have a Master's degree in the relevant subject, First Class is required at either Bachelor's or Master's level.
For Non-Engineering Subjects (Physics, Chem, Math, English):
Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with First Class (or equivalent).
Must have cleared NET/SLET/PhD (check specific notification rules for exemptions).
2. Age Limit (as on July 1, 2025)
Minimum Age: 21 Years
Maximum Age: 40 Years
Relaxation: Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Servicemen of UP as per state rules.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection involves a Written Examination (Objective Type) followed by an Interview.
Stage 1: Written Exam (Total 750 Marks)
Paper I:
General Hindi: 25 Questions (75 Marks)
Main Subject (Part 1): 100 Questions (300 Marks)
Total: 375 Marks | Duration: 2.5 Hours
Paper II:
General Studies: 25 Questions (75 Marks)
Main Subject (Part 2): 100 Questions (300 Marks)
Total: 375 Marks | Duration: 2.5 Hours
Stage 2: Interview
Marks: 100 Marks
Note: Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for the interview.
Salary Structure
Entry Pay: Level 9A (₹56,100) or Level 10 (₹57,700).
Allowances: DA, HRA, and other allowances as per UP Government rules.
