The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2025 examination, a crucial assessment for candidates aspiring for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and colleges.

- JRF: Maximum 30 years as of July 1, 2025. Relaxation of up to 5 years for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender candidates and women applicants.
- Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.

- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / EWS: ₹600
- SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender: ₹325
