• Age Limit (as on July 14, 2025):

  • Grade A: Minimum 21 years, Maximum 30 years (Candidates born between July 14, 1995, and July 15, 2004, both dates inclusive).

  • Grade B: Minimum 25 years, Maximum 33 years (Candidates born between July 14, 1992, and July 15, 2000, both dates inclusive).

  • Age relaxation is applicable as per Government norms for reserved categories.

• Educational Qualification (as on August 11, 2025):

  • Assistant Manager Grade A (General Stream):

    • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Administration/ Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants), OR

    • CA/ CS/ CFA/ CMA qualification, OR

    • Full-time MBA/PGDM (2 years) from a UGC-recognized university.

    • Preferably proficiency in basic computer knowledge.

  • Manager Grade B (General Stream):

    • Graduation or Post-Graduation in any discipline / Equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters/years.

    • Essential Experience: At least 5 years of experience as an officer (permanent) in RBI, SEBI, or relevant roles in other financial institutions/banks (refer to the official notification for complete details).

  • Manager Grade B (Legal Stream):

    • Bachelor's in Law with at least 50% marks, enrolled with the Bar Council.

    • Essential Experience: At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in legal roles.

6. Selection Process

The selection process typically involves three phases:

• Phase I: Online Objective Test (200 Marks)

  • This phase includes sections like English Language, Reasoning Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness (with focus on Banking, Financial Sector, Economic & Social Issues), MSMEs: Policy, Regulatory & Legal Framework; Finance & Management (with focus on MSME), and Stream-Specific Test.

  • English Language, Reasoning Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge sections are qualifying in nature.

  • Shortlisting for Phase II is based on marks scored in General Awareness, MSMEs, and Stream-Specific Test sections.

  • Negative marking of 1/4th mark for each incorrect answer.

• Phase II: Online Descriptive & Subject-Specific Test

  • Paper 1 (English Language): Descriptive (Essay, Précis, Comprehension writing, Business/Office Correspondence) - 3 questions, 75 marks, 75 minutes.

  • Paper 2 (MSMEs: Policy, Regulatory and Legal Framework; Finance and Management or Stream-Specific for Legal/IT): Objective (50 questions, 75 marks, 60 minutes) and Descriptive (10 questions, out of which 4 to be attempted, 50 marks, 75 minutes).

• Psychometric Test (Qualifying in nature, no marks)
