Selection Process 📋
The selection process for the Delhi Police Constable Executive post involves three main stages:
Computer-Based Examination (CBE): This is the first stage, conducted by the SSC. It's a single, 100-mark objective test with a 90-minute duration. There's a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The exam covers General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and Computer Fundamentals. This is the most crucial stage as the final merit list is based on the score from this exam.
Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT): This is a qualifying test conducted by the Delhi Police. It includes a 1600-meter race, a long jump, and a high jump. The standards vary by age and gender. Candidates must also meet minimum height and chest (for males) measurements.
Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the PE&MT will undergo a medical examination to check their physical and medical fitness for the role.
Physical Standards & Endurance 🏃
Physical Endurance Test (for candidates up to 30 years old):
Male: 1600-meter race in 6 minutes, Long Jump of 14 feet, and High Jump of 3'9".
Female: 1600-meter race in 8 minutes, Long Jump of 10 feet, and High Jump of 3'0".
