Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification. 
2. Age Limit (as of January 1, 2026)
- Minimum Age: 20 years 
- Maximum Age: 33 years (for UR/EWS candidates) 
- Age Relaxation: - OBC: 3 years 
- SC/ST: 5 years 
- PwBD (UR/EWS): 10 years 
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years 
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years

Selection Process
The selection process for the RRB Section Controller post consists of the following stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): This is a written examination with a negative marking of ⅓ mark for each incorrect answer. - Duration: 120 minutes 
- Total Questions: 100 
- Subjects: - Analytical & Mathematical Capability (60 questions) 
- Logical Capability (20 questions) 
- Mental Reasoning (20 questions) 
 
 
- Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT): Candidates will be shortlisted for the CBAT at 8 times the number of vacancies from the CBT merit list. - Candidates must score a minimum T-score of 42 in each test battery. 
 
- Document Verification: 
- Medical Examination: Candidates must meet the prescribed medical fitness standards (A-2). 
The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance in the CBT and CBAT, with a weightage of 70% for CBT and 30% for CBAT.
